After only 4 books we reach the end for Han Solo (sorry, Captain Darian Frey)and the daring crew of the Ketty Jay. Although it is heavy in non-stop adventure, in my opinion the "sentimental" parts are the main ingredients, very touching and balanced between joy, grief, tears and laughs. We will remember all the characters fondly - for how many books can we say the same? Thank you Chris Wooding! (Although we hate you that we will never (?) see them again. Maybe if you get bankrupt you will be forced to bring them back. Fingers crossed!)

Chris Wooding does not disappoint in this latest adventure from the crew of the Kerry Jay. Plenty of action, some tender moments and a fitting end. I must say, I'm always sad when I come to the end of one of these books, they provide me with such escapism and I get so engrossed that I'm at a loose end when I've finished! All I can say is lose yourself in the action, it's well worth it! I hope we haven't seen the end of Frey and his crew.

This last book was definately for me the best, some of the battle scenes were a bit drawn out admittedly, but the fate of the characters and the plot drove the story forward at a fast pace, keeping me wanting to turn the pages to see what was going to happen next. A story with plenty of action & twists to keep any reader interested and an end... well i dont want to spoil it. A great read.
