I like easy cooking sometimes & saw this so thought I would try it. The recipes are easy to follow & most of the ingredients are in the cupboard.

Easy recipes.....perfect results. Very 'user friendly' layout with the picture on the right and the reading bit on the left and a great size too.....not one of those heavy volumes of recipes which you never know where to put!!!! It does as it says in the title....."Simple suppers".

I try and look for simple (low cost) but tastey meals and recipes. These little books are perfect for choosing simple recipes minutes before dashing to the supermarket for a shop! Great ideas eventhough some I may change slightly but a very good staple for any kitchen/ cook.

Have also bought the couples version :)

This book is fantastic. Just what you want when you come in from a hard day at work and you just want to sit down and eat something quick.
This book provides you with the chance to do that with little hassle. It's quick and its tasty.
I use this book time and time again.
Do yourself a favour and buy one now!

Excellent product - very easy to use with some simple receipes. I'm a fussy eater and found loads of receipes that I would attempt to cook using this book.

Generally I don't bother to write reviews, but I love this book! All the recipes I have tried so far have been consistently excellent and often inspiring. I have recommended it to as many people as will listen. Not only does it hold its own (and most of the time win) against my other cookbooks, but its small size means I can chuck it in my bag and peruse recipes for dinner on the bus/in my lunch break/even in the supermarket, eliminating the need to write out ingredients lists, or even deciding what to cook, in advance!

I found the meals could really be completed in the stated times. As a diabetic I also found the info on sugar content to be very helpful. The suppers tasted just as good as they looked and I can thoroughly recommend this book to anyone, not only those venturing into cooking for the first time, but also for those who would like a refreshing, simple change. Buy it.

Haven't received any feedback from person whom this book was purchased for, but if it's anything like Nigel Slaters other books I'm sure it will be received with a welcomed smile.

Thought I was buying a simple Nigel slater book was disappointed when it arrived as it was for my dad & he wouldn't cook half of the recipes in this one!

wasn't at all what i expected and was a little disappointed with the whole thing. It cost me more in P&P than the book was worth.
