5.0 out of 5 stars seth speaks
A very thought-provoking book; it arrived on time and was well-wrapped. Unfortunately it was duplicated by another book with a slightly different title.

3.0 out of 5 stars interesting read
There are many critics of the Seth books. My view is that whichever way you look at it, it is an interesting read. "Seth" might be seen to be re-hashing known philosophies or ideas but I think that they are still eloquently put and easy to digest.

1.0 out of 5 stars Delusional ramblings from a spirit medium, 17 Oct. 2007

This review is from: Seth Speaks (Mass Market Paperback)
Jane Roberts & her alleged "spirit channel" to an 'entity' whom she called SETH, was one of those 1960's/70's cliches - a guru-esse of New Age fringe people who professed reincarnation & 'the overmind'. As a would-be successor to Edgar Cayce and other trance mediums, she was less spectacular.
According to her, in 1963 she began receiving messages from a non-living male personality. These messages became conveniently verbose and eventually stretched to 10 volumes. They describe facets of a 'holographic' universe, reincarnation, timelessness etc.
The delusional aspect of this so-called "material" comes through in such claims attributed to Seth as the one that Paul/Saul of Tarsus will reincarnate before 2075 AD.
One is strongly obliged to see this as apocryphal.
