Paul Hills account of the miscarriage of justice differs litle from Gerry Conlons proved innocent except perhaps Paul Hills story has the added miscarraige of a murder charge back in Belfast and he gives a more detailed view of the system and all its pitfalls a story that took the police just a few days to concoct and 15 years of a mans life {sorry men and womens lives) to put right as the corruption within tthe justice system that took place and nobody wanted to admit i have also read Proved Innocent and My fathers Watch by Patrick Mcguire so many lives ruined just for the police to find scapegoats for a crime they couldnt solve whatever these people recieved as compensation for wrongful inprisionment could never be enough how can you compensate for as Paul Hill title says stolen years

Cruel and terrible true story. What this boy into manhood had to endure is beyond belief. Trust such miscarriage of justice never occurs again.

I owned this book many years ago, thoroughly fantastic read despite the trauma these poor people endured.
Having lost the book (probably lent it out and not returned) , I wanted this for my nephew as he was doing some research. The book is out of print but found this seller, his description of the book was very accurate and I was highly delighted to receive it. My nephew found it fascinating

very interesting book and would recommend it if you are interested in Irish history- it gives a totally different and honest perception to the story of The Guildford Five
