An excellent review of the history of the Creationist movement from early old earth apologetics to the 7 day adventists, Creation science and Intelligent design movements. Without riddicule the topic is treated with critical fairness. If you want to understand the thinking behind various creationist groups here is a good place to start. At 431 pages its not easy reading but its thorough with plenty of references for further reading. As a ex-member of a 'creation science' group I can see nothing to fault its description of the history and enjoyed the tone of constructive criticism and respectful treatment of the people behind the 'movement'.
