This is book eight following the D'Artigo sisters, each book follows one of the three & in this the third arc it is the turn of Delilah again, she's generally deemed the weakest & the most sensitive of the sisters. The household is in mourning, after the death of Henry & the rejection of their father against Camille choice of magical alliance. Delilah has to toughen up & grow a pair, she's gained in confidence & needs to make a decision regarding Chase. The Autumn Lord is like a sensual spectre throughout the book & begins her training as a 'live' Death Maiden.
There is someone else though, who is the 'shadow' that is following her & why is she inexplicably drawn to him, what will the Autumn Lords reaction be?
Werewolf Luke asks for help finding his pregnant sister, who has gone missing. Snaky Stacia Bonecrusher & her cronies always seem to be one step ahead. Who is passing on the information? and how can they stop the magical drug Wolf Briar from insinuating itself into the magical community, if left unchecked can have devastating consequences. The sixth spirit seal makes an appearance in a form not before seen and the D'Atrigo sisters will need every ounce of power & determination to survive, but with the many men behind them & an ever stronger bond forming, they make a formiddable force.
This book can be easily read in a couple of sittings,in this edition, I found Delilah's love interests unconvincing, the storyline sketchy in places, I think the fact everyone gets on, makes for unconvincing reading, but it is a fantasy & this is just personal preference, don't let me put you off.I do like that Y.G, does not leave any major cliffhangers & you get a whole story & it's my favourite sister Menolly next, so I will be buying the next book in the series.. as I did as a whole enjoy it, I just think it's a little weaker than other books in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Harvest Hunting, 27 Feb 2012
This review is from: Harvest Hunting (Otherworld) (Mass Market Paperback)
Enjoyed the book by Yasmine Galenorn, which is the ninth book in the series. Having read and enjoyed the previous eight books, it made sense to keep on reading and also wanted to find out what happens next. Already reached book 11 and will now have to wait for book 12 to be published. I recommend this book if it is to your taste.
