I got the book a couple of days ago and found it is pretty useful in understanding and developing modern plant automation software. In the previous several chapters, the authors give out some basics and the later chapters discuss some practical applications. I like these case studies, which helped us a lot in comprehending how typical plant automation systems work and how the software should be efficiently designed. Our team is now working on a project based on one of the case studies the book presents.
