If you're studying Computer Forensics, or even if you work in the field, this is a great resource. The book is a little on the expensive side (over £30 when I bought it) however, the sheer amount of factual detail inside this book is mind-blowing. The book is aimed at those studying for the EnCE exam, however, I am a Computer Forensics student and I purchased it purely to read through and understand EnCase and see how it works. This book goes into way more than just EnCase and goes into detail about filing systems such as FAT, FAT32 & NTFS and discusses all the essentials. The best thing about this book, is that it doesn't treat you like you're stupid. Well written and worth the purchase.

Examination questions in the book do not relate to the ENCE exam as there is a lot of relevant material missing. Good for a reminder of various topics but don't depend on this book alone to pass the exam.

Updated book to help prepare for EnCe. Also a very good reference book to have available in the lab/office. There are evidence files available for download that allows you work through practicals.

Everything you wanted to know about EnCE but were afraid to ask. This guide book teaches you everything you need to know about EnCase and is frankly a godsend when mu lecturer skims over stuff

I have been using former (6.xx) version of EnCase. Because of essential changes between new and old versions, this book is just "must to have" in this subject.
