I thoroughly enjoyed reading this account, if "enjoyed" is the right way of referring to finding a true crime book good to read. As with all these types of books there is some very unpleasant detail of murders in this book, but it is treated very sensitively and with great sympathy shown to the victims. The theory Strong proposes, of a new type of crime call "eraser" killing (the removal of a partner from ones life completely through murder" is a fascinating and compelling one. Strong demonstrates her theories about this type of crime with some intriguing cases such as the the Scott and Laci Peterson case which are less well known in this country but no less interesting for it. The author has clearly done her research into the psychology of these types of killers and presents the psychological aspects in a clear and easy to read manner. All in all, this is a very interesting and worthwhile read and I would recommend it to all those with an interest in true crime.
