This review is from: Biomechanics and Motor Control of Human Movement (Hardcover)
I dipped into this book as a physio trying to understand 3D gait analysis at MSc level. Whilst it would clearly be more intelligible to biomechanical engineers and movement scientists with a good grasp of physics and maths, it was also of use to me since, although there are a lot of equations, there is also clearly written text and very helpful diagrams throughout. I was expecting it to include something on the control of movement by the CNS from the title, which it doesn't but this was probably my misinterpretation. Useful if you want to understand more about what is being measured and why, understanding the relationships between different components of movement and, helpful background for understanding research papers.
