This is another excellent book by Don Seegmillar.
Note that it is aimed at people who already know their way around Painter. He specifically points out in the introduction that it's not a complete overview or how-to book (buy his first book for that, if you can track it down ISBN:1584502320 - note it doesn't say 'Painter' in the title). The new book is for those who want to add to their knowledge, not how to find their way around the interface. So there's loads of handy/interesting hints and titbits, but is aimed at painting and interesting Painter features, rather than every single feature of Painter.
If you want to find our how to autopaint your photos this book isn't for you. It more about painting from scratch.

Even if you are new to DIGITAL ART and Painter, then this is the book for you. The instructions for each lesson are easy to follow, using screen grabs when needed to show how things should look on your workspace.
Don Seegmiller is a true master and this book will not let you down.

Even after all these years of buying this book I still find it useful today, it's professional and helps guide you with your work. This book isn't really for beginners so it would be a good idea to either learn what you can first from a beginners book & software manual or on your own. But be aware of what corel painter software you are using as this book was published in 2008 and therefore certain aspects of the latest corel painter software may be different to what is found in book.
