1.0 out of 5 stars Only good for United States - do NOT use for UK, 25 Aug 2010
This review is from: Building Construction Illustrated (Paperback)
While beautifully written and extremely well presented, this book is written for American construction and is completely unsuitable for students studying construction technology in the UK because the terminology and even the units of measurement are simply WRONG. Any UK student relying on Ching for construction will get low marks because the work will be incorrect. If you want a good textbook Barry's Introduction to Construction of Buildings is the only one I have found that is comprehensively correct and up to date.

1.0 out of 5 stars book from library!, 18 Mar 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
this book has been registered by west virginia college state!!! HOW it is possible to take out a book from library & sell it?

second at book page edges you can observe washed red ink which is most probably the library name!!

i bought one book with cost of 1.5$ old edition (new one cost was 100$) but it was at very good condition

i'm not happy with this purchase.
