Yet another outing of the Taylor Anderson's Destroyermen thrust from the world war of World War 2 into the very strange parallel world that they must now survive in.
Deadly Shores is well up to the excellent standard set by the previous Destroyermen novels. The combination of fierce monsters, on land sea and in the air, blood thirsty enemy armies and ruthless leaders oppose the allied forces of humans (transported by some unknown force) and native Leamurans efforts to bring peace.
Taylor Anderson writes very readable books and he has an imagination that is truly mind blowing. He also remembers that in that war torn world they left and the one they must now survive in the USA had and needed allies. Very refreshing.
Yes this is a great follow on novel but a warning to anyone who has not yet read the earlier books read them from the start or you will be very confused.
Note to the author.....MORE please!!!

Have to say that some of the books in the series leading up to this one were slowing the pace but wow...deadly shores kicks into high gear and is impressive indeed. Great fighting, strategic jostling, discoveries, treachery...it's all in there. Great read.
