jillian hunters favourite family, this one being sir colin boscastle who for years has been chasing the man he thought murdered his father. a past mistress of his [who happens to be writing her memoirs] is now the mistress of the man he has been chasing all these years, kate, the heroine of the story, is an innocent companion and governess to the notorious courtesans children. one of whom turns out to be colin boscastles. kate eventually succumbs to sir colins charms and there is plenty of spice in the bedroom for those who like it. it is well written and very enjoyable. four stars as some of her other books have the edge on this one.
