This review is from: The Pleasures of Cloris (Mass Market Paperback)
In this fourth of the erotic novels of Robert Walter Marks writing as John Colleton, we learn of the beginnings of the relationship between two of his principal characters, Bill Benton and Cloris, Lady Cholmondeley. Other erotic entanglements involved in this phase of the complex web of intrigue described by Colleton include the seduction of an Italian maid, Caterina and her brother, and Cloris' daughter Nancy. Cloris' English lord husband starts a hunt to trace the lovers who have cuckolded him as they journey around some of the most picturesque parts of northern Italy. This book is rather more erotic in its scenarios and descriptions than its predecessors. It is particularly entertaining as a beautifully described romp through Italy, replete with libidinous interludes, and its elegant, atmospheric treatment of amorous intrigues make it a very good read.
