I received a copy of this to review.
It was a first for me from this author and I have to say I really enjoyed it.
I am not usually a fan of the scottish historical romance books because of the language but I quite liked it in this one...in fact I couldnt help but do a scottish accent in my head as I was reading this(luckily not out loud, because noone wants to hear me attempt it lol).
I really loved the characters of Ian and Sileas and they were definately well suited, my only complaint is that they seemed to sort their problems out quickly, I would have liked for their story to have been drawn out a bit more, but there was a lot going on in the book and the storyline so I can understand why it wasnt.
It was very well written and was very enjoyable and easy to read and if you enjoy authors such as Hannah Howell, Sabrina Jeffries then I would recommend this book and author.
This was a great start to a series and I really look forward to reading the next book The Sinner and all of the others regarding his cousins :)
It will not be the last book I read from this author.
