Lore and his twin sister Sin have been enslaved by the demon Detharu for years, forced to act as assassins on his behalf. Lore has finally been offered a chance to escape though, he just has to make one final kill and then he will be free. Failure is not an option, especially when the penalty would be the death of the sister that he would do anything to protect. Idess is an angel who has been tasked with protecting certain humans to earn her wings. It just so happens that the human Lore has been hired to kill is the one that Idess must keep safe. Lore and Idess may be on opposing sides but the attraction between them is instant and intense, can they find a way for them both to get what they so desperately want or are they both doomed to fail?

I'm a massive fan of both Larissa Ione's Demonica series and her Lords of Deliverance books, she has created a wonderful world and populated it with some of my favourite paranormal romance heroes and heroines. I have been looking forward to reading Lore's story for a long time now (I have no idea why it took me so long to get around to it!) and I wasn't disappointed. This series is a must read for paranormal romance fans but I would recommend reading the books in order starting with Pleasure Unbound.

Lore has spent years being forced to do whatever his master tells him to, he has become a lethal killer but his actions have always been to protect his sister and deep down he just wants to live in peace. When he is hired to kill Kynan he has no idea that his actions will force him to go up against the brothers he only recently discovered. Lore is forced to choose between the sister he adores, the brothers he has only just met and the angel who is quickly stealing his heart and it doesn't seem like there is any way for a happy ending for all of them. Things sure do get complicated for the seminus brothers in this instalment to the series, lines are crossed, sides are chosen and there are a lot of arguments. It was strange to see what has up until now been such a close knit family fall so far apart but the reasons why all become clear in the end. I have to admit I was disappointed with Shade's treatment of Eidolon in this book though and Wraith wasn't much better. Lore understandably has little loyalty to the brothers he has only just met compared to the twin he grew up with but it is obvious he would avoid hurting them if possible, he just can't seem to see a way around it.

I fell for Lore completely reading his story, he's such a sexy demon! A stone cold killer with a heart of gold he is totally swoon worthy. Idess is his perfect match and not quite as angelic as you'd expect her to be. First and foremost Idess is a fighter who will do whatever it takes to protect her charges, even if it means resorting to underhand measures to achieve her goals. She is prepared to give up everything she has ever dreamt of to keep Kynan safe and you have to admire her for that. As a couple these two practically scorch the pages in every scene they share. Their attraction is intense and builds up to a wonderfully explosive conclusion.

Ecstasy Unveiled has everything you would expect from a Larissa Ione book - a hero to swoon over, a feisty heroine, scorching hot romance, action and a glimpse of how all of the previous characters are getting along. One of my favourite books in an amazing series.

I love this author, her books are meaty, hot and fast paced and you really get into her world. Every bit as good as the other three, can't wait for Sins tale!!! Don't read this book as a stand alone, make sure you read the other three before this one to get the whole deal.
If you like Gena Showalter, JR Ward & Kresley Cole then this series is for you!

The fourth instalment and one that fans have been demanding for a little while now. Within these sumptuous pages is a rich story that takes the reader on a tale of danger, of temptation, mystery and above all else love as the two principle characters Lore and Idess undertake a mission against an enemy from the past.

It has great pace, the characters are identifiable and of course difficult to put down as the key characters sizzle against each other throughout. Finally add to this a story that will stay with the reader for quite some time, some of the errors within will be forgiven such as the annoying Sin (who returns in the next book as one of the main cast members.) Whether she'll do well we'll have to wait and see but so far this series has been one excellent book after another.

Ecstasy Unveiled is the story of one assassin's mission to kill is an angel's mission to keep safe and when the mission has been successfully completed, they will get what they have always wanted, freedom and wings. Only when it comes down to it, what they thought they needed is not necessarily what they really want, especially when they discover it is really means to fall in love.

This story has everything that you would expect of Ms. Ione and the Demonica series. There is lots of action, passion, twists and turns in the plot that are not necessarily expected and heart felt emotion that could possibly bring a tear to the reader's eye. With all these elements it is not a surprise that the fourth instalment is another unputdownable read.

This series is really captivating - it is something a bit different in the genre and very imaginative! I really found that I could lose myself in the story, and could feel for some of the characters and what they were experiencing. Mixed with lots of action, romance, sizzling erotic parts and a dangerousness that makes you want to keep reading to the end, I would recommend the Demonica novels to all.

Idess and lore are the most weirdest combination couple so far in the series as he is already a human/demon hybrid and she is a pre ascended angel on the making, yet their fates are so intertwined it would never shave worked with anyone else. I love how the characters are so suited and the females are so kick ass crazy but also have a vulnerable streak that gets the bad guys all the time and brings them to their knees. Kind of feel sorry for all the brothers they can't seem to catch a break always having to save the world while being out in danger and turmoil. Love the series

Always love reading Larissa Ione's amazing stories but initially wasn't sure about this one... but this was a roller coaster ride of amazingness, lol!!

The strong storyline sucked me in as I rode the highs and lows, gripping on like mad through every twist and turn but all of the angst and drama was so worth the experience.

Lore leads the 4th instalment of the sexy Demonica series. Encounters with him in the previous book left me wanting more of this mysterious and dangerous (aren't they all) demon; and I was not disappointed.

His mate Idess, an earthbound angel, is likable from the start and their evolving relationship fresh. Yes, there's the sexual tension from the 'will they/won't they', but they are not separated by big, dark secrets (at least not many) which characters in these paranormal romances so frequently are. And it was nice.

After not recalling must about the last three, I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this. It started fast and kept me interested. It might have just been the right book at the right time, because lets be honest, they are not masterpieces, but on the whole it was one of the better ones in its genre.

There were obviously a few things I didn't like; For instance, the "bad guy". This was really frustrating, but I won't say more so I don't spoil it. Lore's sister Sin was also incredibly annoying and clichéd. And as she's leading the next book I do hope she grows on me fast.

In saying that, I'm really looking forward to the next one, which is always a good sign. For any fan of the series: you won't be disappointed. For any newcomer: you don't really need to read the first three (although I don't like reading things out of order) and it's good entertainment. A light, fun read to relax to.

I loved this book, it was amazing probably one of the best in the series and can't wait for sin's story which is coming out soon. You should definitely buy it, although be prepared to cry as it is really sad but happy ending so don't worry :)
