(REAL NAME)
Probably the best Dean book around in my opinion, you just can't top this. Joe Hyams used to go around with Jimmy in Hollywood and knew him very well. These are the biographers you are better off believing instead of those many others that like to speculate on what Jimmy was thinking and feeling. Although Joe Hyams was aware Jimmy had played both sides of the fence, Once he got to Hollywood he was completely straight. this book puts to rest all the rumours and pathetic asumptions of other writers. Once you've read this you won't want to read another Dean book, Everything you need to know is right here!

This review is from: James Dean: Little Boy Lost (Hardcover)
I rate this five stars because it is a lovely book on my hero of 38 years!! I have collected things and read loads of books on Jimmy, but have never read this one before. It is worth every penny and more, and was worth waiting for.
I would recommend this book to everyone, even non Dean fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jimmy Dean Bible, 29 Sep 2006

This review is from: James Dean: Little Boy Lost (Hardcover)
This is a splendid book. If you want to get a real insight then I urge you to give this a try. I call it 'The James Dean Bible', even though it was written by Dean's friend it's an unbiased study of the man. Joe Hyams doesn't skirt around issue's concerning Jimmy Dean. He doesn't add any type of romance to the death of the actor nor does he concentrate souly on the troubles of the young star. Many other books tend to dwell on Jimmy's sexuatlity or bizare suicidal tendencys, this book, I'm glad to say doesn't. A must read.
