5.0 out of 5 stars Women who struggle with relationships will love this book., 10 Feb. 2000
This review is from: Crystal Woman (Paperback)
Lynn's visit to her aboriginal sisters of the shield in Australia teaches her a new appreciation of nature and survival in the harsh climate of the desert. Her teachers enable her to gain a deeper understanding of the struggle for power within personal relationships, conscious and unconscious. Also how she and many individuals, relinquish their power in their search for, and misunderstanding of, love. During her stay, she confronts her fears, and through the experience, learns what fear truly means and how it can control your life.
I found this book to be a revelation, at the time of reading I had just left a relationship with a very angry, controlling man. The book reflected many of the power struggles and attempts at manipulation that I had experienced. It also suggested ways of recognising these patterns when you encounter them and how to protect yourself against their negative effects. Lynn tells her stories in a way that the reader can relate to and learn from. I'd reccommend all of her books to anyone currently looking at their lives, you will find ancient and simple wisdom therein. Enjoy.
