Excelent follow up to the Spellsinger. Held me to the end,

I found this an excelent follow on to the spellsinger series. A natrual continuing line as the family and friends move on as in normal life to adventures new. It involves a growing experience for all involved in the story with some scarey, some exciting and some funny parts. The journey is always changing and the abilities of the friends increases with every obstical eventually overcome and a new friend gained while another departs. I really enjoyed this tale and found ir hard to put the book down as I have with other Alan Dean Foster books. Another really great book from an excelent writer.

I have now read the whole Spellsinger series four times over the last few years, and each time it is like reading the books anew. I would recommend these books to anyone, and have wished for years that they could be made into a series of films. Most definitely a MUST read. My greatest wish at the moment though, is that they are transferred to Kindle format, as I would gladly buy them all over again.
