This book was about a girl called Charlie, who did a project for school on the Victorians. Then things started to change, and she found that her life was simalar to Lottie's[the girl she made up].It was very funny too.I think it would be good for anyone aged 9-12.

3.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Book
This is another fabulous book by Jacqueline Wilson for young readers. My daughter is a lot older then she was when she first read it, however she re-read it and found it even more interesting. 5.0 out of 5 stars Really good!!!, 4 Oct. 2001
By A Customer
This book is excellent! It tells us how a girl called Charlotte Enright ( likes to be called Charlie)and her two best friends Angela and Lisa who have to write a History report on the victorians and Charlie is stuck for ideas!
There is alwasy a goody-two-shoes in every story and in this particular story it would happen to be Jamie Edwards!! Charlie picks out a book and it is on servants and the girl on the front cover just happens to look like her!!!
Everything goes wrong when her mother Jo gets a boyfriend called Mark and he happens to have a small child called Robin, these two turn Charlie's life upside down!!
After many adventures she finally gets her History project done, but not in the way you would expect. I thoroughly recommend this book!
