Virginia Henley is one of THE best romance writers out there.
She has the wonderful ability to create the most masculine,
dynamic, extraordinary male characters and of course a female
heroin with enough fire and integrity to be worthy of his
love.
Virginia Henley's characters are bold enough to rival Judith
McNaught's. Her love scenes are incomparable and wickedly
sinful. To top it all off, Seduced has the most humorous
storyline that makes for a delicious book!

If you love romance you will adore this book..Seduced has a great enthralling story line.Disuised as a male Antonia finds freedom by donning her brothers wardrobe. Adam Savage who wants to turn the boy into a man, only succeeds in showing his true exciting, erotic, caring self and making Antonia want to be wholly female...

Badly copy-edited and full of period anachronisms (the Georgian heroine frequently gasps "ohmigod" like some 1990s valley girl). The "hero" is unlikeable and twice the heroine's age, which wouldn't bother me as much if he wasn't such a controlling and blinkered individual. I actually quite liked Antonia, which saved this book from 1 star ignominy, but I don't see her and Adam having a happily-ever after.

This book was wonderful! Lots of steamy love scenes, intelligently written, action all over. It took over a hundred pages for the two main characters to meet, but when they did, it was worth the wait!

Antonia's mother was Adam Savage's mistress in Ceylon, and he had been planning on marrying her! Like a coward, he had planned to hide that news from her, and she never would have found out if her mother hadn't told her. Am I the only one around here who finds that a bit difficult to handle? I have to admit the story was intriguing, but I just couldn't get beyond the incestuous overtones. Personally speaking, I shudder at the thought of marrying my mother's ex-lover!

I really liked this one, especially how she got to see the world through a males perspective! Not alot of people get that chance! I liked it, it was interesting and romantic!

Whimsical, humorous, romantic, and lusty! Seduced should be the template for all romance novels. I truly enjoyed this one.

Me. Henley did a splendid job. Ravished is about the twin brothers, the weak and the strong. This story made me feel sad, angry, hope when I read it. To me a good story can make you heart moves like a roller coaster. And Ms. Henley nailed it. Furthermore, I bought this book second hand through amazon, its worth while to owned it and I vastly love the story.

Well written romp. I didn't have a problem with the "incest" issue as previous reviewers have because it didn't seem like savage's relationship with the heroines mother was ever consummated & so it wasn't quite so off putting as it could have been.
