This book is the fourth novel in the Captain Underpants series. The Captain Underpants series is humorous and action packed. I had heard it was great, so I thought I should try reading it.
The main characters are George Beard and Harold Hutchins (he has a very bad haircut) and Mr Krupp (who transforms into Captain Underpants. If you click whilst you `re near Mr Krupp, he will turn into Captain Underpants, but if he gets a wet head, he turns into Mr Krupp. My favourite characters are George and Harold because they are very funny, but whilst having fun often get into trouble. The teachers give them a big punishment, but the two eventually get their revenge!!
The story is about a school science teacher, who tries to change everyone's name into a weird one by using his inventions. His name is Professor Pippy Pee Pee Poopypants!! Captain Underpants finally defeats PPPPP by crushing his inventions.
I have two favourite chapters. The first one is quiet long, but all that happens in it is, George and Harold talk about the lesson they have learnt. It is called The Chapter After The Chapter Before The Last Chapter. My second favourite chapter is called To Make a Long Story Short. The one sentence in it is... It did.
I recommend this book to anyone with a sense of humour, a good imagination or anyone who enjoys animating the action with the additional feature flip- o- rama.
I would give this book 8 out of 10.

This is the last book in the series that we own but I'm going to finish off the rest with visits to the library as I'm finding them quite delightful. This is the first appearance of this particular villain but I came across him in book 10, which was the first book in this series I ever read, and that was a sequel to book 9. Sooo, we can see Professor Poopypants, at least as he's called in this book becomes a favourite Underpants' villain. He's the kind of villain you love to hate though because at first he seemed a nice guy wanting to feed the world and eliminate it's garbage problem both at the same time with his new inventions. However his unfortunate name makes him a laughing stock whom no-one will take seriously and this warps the professor's mind beyond repair and he decides to take over the world instead. This is another hilarious adventure with George, Harold and Captain Underpants. The craziest part that kids will have fun with is a chart that Poopypants uses to enforce upon everyone a new silly name. Closing my review now with my own new silly name! signing out: ... Zippy Banananose.

This marvelous book is all about a man call Mr. Krubb and two boys named George and his best friend Harold. These two imaginative go to an Elementary school. They both love to make comics. One day at the school the science teacher has enough of the school so he turns to the superhero. Mr. Krubb, worried, wonders who to be the next science teacher. From new Swissland, a small island in Greenland a new funny science teacher comes. He's a mad scientist and wants revenge. A comic by George and Harold about the science teacher makes him angry when he reads it.
I found the story remarkably funny. You should really read this book! This is really funny. I couldn't let go of it! It is 100% for children. Highly recommended.

My 7 & 5yr old boys absolutely love these books. We read a few chapters every night and even the adults want to know what happens next. The stories are so way out there and I love the chapter headings. The three boards to change names are brilliant, thoroughly recommended by Pinky & Goober Wafflebrain (previously known as Max & Oscar). If your children like these books then they may enjoy the same kind of silly fun in the DVD The Secret Show.
