5.0 out of 5 stars Talking toilet-tastic!, 10 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book was very good and a very good read.

Dav Pilkey has obviously put a lot of hard work into the illustrations and has done a very good job with the whole thing!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Book for Kids!, 11 Feb 2010
This review is from: Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets (Paperback)
This is a great book to read and to have read to you, and is a pure children's legend of a book. It has everything a child could want, and will keep them amused until they finish it, at which point they will be begging for more!

The price is more of a snatch/steal than a purchase, so I would recommend this for any child (or any big kids too!)

5.0 out of 5 stars comfort reading for boys - perfect for reluctant readers, 17 Nov 2008

If you know a boy who doesn't enjoy reading try giving him a book from this series. My 7 year old son reads his Captain Underpants books over and over again and often returns to them when in need of a bit of 'comfort' reading. Just this morning he was reading one over his Weetabix and I heard a little chuckle.

5.0 out of 5 stars I think this is a very funny book., 21 Mar 1999
By A Customer
This book is funny but not a good book for grown-ups because grown-ups would think it is stupid with a guy flying around in his underwear. There are two flip-o-rama's. Flip-o-rama's let you make a movie with the pictures. Captain Underpants fights the Turbo Toilet 2000 that took over the school.

This is the second Cap U. book that I have read. I read them in one sitting because they are so good and amusing I can't put them down. My son is nine, and he also likes them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Critics rate:Best book in the world!, 15 Jun 1999

FRUIT OF THE LOOMS ARE BACK! That's right, Captain Underpants are back in his new and improved book called Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets. This book is the best book in the WORLD! With 2 that's 2 flip-o-ramas. This book I thought was the best for many reasons: ONE more flip-o-ramas then first book. TWO more super wedgy power then first book. THREE more & more laughs then first book. So if you're looking for a book this is probably the book for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars It was the best story I read all year., 11 April 1999
By A Customer
I liked the part when the small boy said "Mommy, there is a big fat guy out there and he's stealing our underpants." I also liked the part when Captain Underpants gave the Turbo Toilet 2000 a kick on his shiny henie. I read the book to my family, and my brother who is 5 loved it too and listened to the entire book in one sitting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Captain Underpants - the new super hero in our house, 4 April 2014

This review is from: Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets (Paperback)
My 6 yo loves this series.
He can't wait to go to bed and read the next couple of chapters.
This is the first set of books that he has been so passionate about, we often find him in his room re-reading them to himself.
As a result we love them too.
