4.0 out of 5 stars `..Try your hand at a spot of DIY detection - have you got what it takes to crack a case?', 16 Mar 2007
This review is from: Crafty Crime-busting (The Knowledge) (Paperback)
`No matter how carefully a criminal plans a crime, one thing's for certain. He or she will accidentally leave something behind at the crime scene that wasn't there before.........

If you want to be in the know, get `The Knowledge'!'

If you have read Rachel Wright's other books, like 'Dreadful Drama', you will appreciate how she puts knowledge across, in a humorous way. This book is no exception.

A colourful, witty cover opens to 126 pages, split over 12 chapters:-

Introduction
The fingerprint files
DNA is A-OK!
On the clue trail
Busted by the bullet
Blasts and bombs
Document detection
Corpse clues
Deadly doses
Mind over murder
Truth, lies and tiny spies
Epilogue

Black and white illustrations/cartoons throughout with quizzes, things to try, `true crime case-books' and `crime-cracking fact boxes`.

5.0 out of 5 stars Detective Mej is on he case!, 16 Mar 2008
This review is from: Crafty Crime-busting (The Knowledge) (Paperback)
This book is part of the `The Knowledge' series. These books are full of fun and interesting but non-fiction subjects including Triffic Chocolate and Crafty Crime Busting (this one). I have only reviewed these two in the series so far but I hope to buy others. Please look at my other review: Triffic Chocolate. Here is a bit about this brilliant book, which I really enjoyed reading:
It has True Crime Casebooks, Crime Cracking Facts, and little quizzes, puzzles to do, The Files of Casey Cracked, and extracts from Crime-busting for Beginners (which is not a real book, I think).
I think this book is just plain fantastic and would positively rate it 10/ 10. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to be a successful detective when he or she is older or just wants to learn about cracking cases!

This review is from: Crafty Crime-busting (The Knowledge) (Paperback)
This book, named crafty crime busting, is a cool book.
It's exciting to read the stories and strange facts.
The quistions are difficult, but cool! And, the jokes in this book are very laughauble.
