5.0 out of 5 stars Another fabulous creation from Karen McCombie..., 16 Feb 2006
This review is from: Amber and the Hot Pepper Jelly (Stella Etc.) (Paperback)
I'm liking the Stella Etc. series just as much as Ally's World so far! In Amber and The Hot Pepper Jelly, Stella has said bye to one friend, but she's soon making an effort to make another one. Stella notices that her old friends from London haven't been in much contact lately, but it doesn't hurt her feelings as much as it did in the first book. Another fabulous creation from Karen McCombie, with Spike's exellent cover designs again! I'd suggest reading the books in order though, seeing as it makes much more sense.

4.0 out of 5 stars Latest Stella Etc book is great!, 18 Sep 2005
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Amber and the Hot Pepper Jelly (Stella Etc.) (Paperback)
I was looking forward to this, and I was not disappointed. Amber the grumpy waitress ceratainly had hidden depths to her, but she needs the help of Stella and friends to bring them out.And with a psycho seagull contributing to the revamp of the Shingle Cafe, life in Portbay is as weird as ever......
The book does stand alone, but having read the previous volumes in the series would certainly add to your enjoyment of it.
