Doctor Who-The Handbook: The Fifth Doctor: The Peter Davison Years 1982-1984.
Paperback Book 294 pages.

Synopsis.
This excellent edition to the Handbook series by David J.Howe & Stephen James Walker features the Fifth Doctor era as played by Peter Davison.

This informative paperback edition includes a archive Q & A with Peter Davison, Trivia on the 20 tv adventures & reviews of the Tv adventures plus transmission dates, Viewing figures & a respective look back on the Fifth Doctor era & any released merchandise tie-ins during the Fifth Doctor era.

Timelord Thoughts.
This is another excellent inclusion into the Handbook range as author's David J.Howe & Stephen James Walker have released a very enjoyable & well researched book on the Fifth Doctor era.

As this was released in 1995 there's nothing on Peter Davisons Big Finish Doctor Who adventures or his Time Crash appearance with David Tennant but as for classic Who this book has a wealth of information from trivia to details about the Peter Davison year's that no fan would want to miss out on.

This is another superb addition to the Handbook range & a nostalgic look back on the Fifth Doctor era that should appeal to fan's of Doctor Who.

Timelord Rating.
10/10

5.0 out of 5 stars Another excellent read in the Doctor Who Handbook series., 4 April 1999

This review is from: Doctor Who - The Handbook: The Fifth Doctor: The Peter Davison Years 1982 - 1984 (Dr Who Handbooks) (Paperback)
The Fifth Doctor Handbook is another great read in the Doctor Who Handbook series. This book explores the era of the Fifth Doctor, the Peter Davison years from 1982-1984. Containing the familiar format of the Handbooks, this book also has a feature on the making of the 20th anniversary Doctor Who special "The Five Doctors". The Fifth Doctor's era was also the last time that the series was popular and also was the last time that the BBC still cared for their sci fi show. Authors David J. Howe and Stephen James Walker have established themselves as the best historians on Doctor Who. Published in 1995, this was the fourth volume in the Doctor Who Handbook series.
