5.0 out of 5 stars Continuing the Harmony saga
Enjoyable book continuing the Harmony series of small town Texas. Enjoyable book continuing the Harmony series of small town Texas. As this book is about a community, characters who featured in the previous novels reappear and this story doesn't just have a central couple to focus upon, but several. To start with I thought there were too many couples in it and new characters are also introduced, as I had to stop and think "now who's Denver" etc, and it took until half-way through the book to stop doing that. However, that could just be me (old age creeping on). She does however, take one of the potential romantic partners out of the story rather abruptly, as if she'd had second thoughts about the characters pairing up.

Here we have Reagan's elderly adoptive uncle taken ill and Reagan also worrying about her friend Noah who's off on the Rodeo circuit. Funeral director Tyler is confused re. his relationship with Kate, as is Denver over his relationship with the troubled and odd artist Claire. Can 27 year old timid Ronelle Logan, a woman controlled and bullied by her loudmouth and awful mother, so she is terrified by everyday life, find the strength to stand up for herself?

Then a terrifying tornado blows in, as does the abusive boyfriend of one of the character's. The community has to band together and make the connections that some were frightened of before.

A good, easy read.
