What a lovely story. I could not put this book down and read it in one go. The hero James was different from the usual rakes we get in most Regency novels, and don't get me wrong I love a rake as much as the next person, but this was a nice change.
Even though Rose worked in a brothel you still managed to like her and feel compassion for her. I liked also that there was not too much detail about his wife and sister and that the book was dedicated to the hero and heroine's growing passion and love for one another.
This is the first book I have read by this author but it will certainly not be the last in fact I find that I shall be perusing her other offerings as soon as I complete this review.
