Very well written text and a complete introduction to clinical psychology with case studies and covering core practical methods to theoretical perspectives. I was quite suprised to find psychotherapy a core concept in clinical psychology. Well written and a must read for anyone considering a doctorate or MSc after their undergraduate degree. It has enabled me to decide what I want to do.

I recently completed a MSc Pschology conversion course with a view to applying to do a doctorate. This is great reading to bridge the gap between completing my course and (hopefully) helping me at interview stage and beyond! Really easy to read and I like the tester questions and further resources at the end of each chapter.

For several years I have (3Grandchildren)been buying books for them as
they progressed through University and am left with these reminders about book reviews. I ask them to do them and often forward the requests to them. All I ever get is an e-mail thanking me and saying
that the book was perfect
I Explain this in the hope that i will stop getting the requests
