5.0 out of 5 stars Great book on the theory of Digital Archaeology, 5 Jun. 2006
This is more a book on the theory and semantics of using computational technologies in cultural heritage, archaeology and anthropology. Truly a fantastic introduction followed by a chapter on the history and development of the discipline, plus lots of other really good papers. It's probably above the heads of the general reader but great for students, professionals, curators, lecturers and interested amateurs. I think it a must read for those in archaeology who use computers.
