Philip Shaw offers an accessible outline of major theorists on the sublime ranging from before (and after) Longinus, through to Burke, Kant,Derrida, Lacan and Zizek and others. This book is by no means "a walk in the park" but it benefits from rereading chapter by chapter. Some theorists will always be harder to comprehend than others. The glossary is very helpful. All in all this book lays out the major movers and shakers to non-philosophers in a way that encourages further research.
