This review is from: The Producers: Money, Movies and Who Calls the Shots (Screen and Cinema) (Paperback)
'Producer' means...well, what, exactly? I agree with the first reviewer's analysis about this book filling a gap, although I would say that the book becomes repetitive after the first 3 or 4 producers (each is dealt with in a 40 page chapter, total of 7) and for me by far the most interesting journeys were those of Michael Douglas, Andrew Macdonald, Duncan Kenworthy and Dino de Laurentiis.

To anyone intending to produce (mad! mad!) , I would recommend this and the Independent Producer's Handbook, although the latter is heavily skewed towards the US.
