5.0 out of 5 stars Funny and insightful
Very funny, very insightful, dramatically brilliant. Having taught this play, I have found young and old both enjoy and appreciate it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Definitely a goodie., 5 Mar. 2000

Having seen the play last night, and already being an Orton fan, I was very impressed. I saw it in a small theatre, with minimal cast, props and lighting. The entire play dependant on the acting. The sheer farce of the play is enough to make it hysterical. When McCleavy asks how long his mourning should be he is told 2 weeks is about right. The detective's disguise was a hat alone. All in all one of Orton's finest.
