If you are a Lynne Truss fan and want to teach your children (and yourself in some circumstances) how punctuation is important and how it effects things, this book is the one for you. The short sentences and illustrations show how silly mistakes and misinterpretations can be made. It is also quite funny.

I would also recommend Eats, Shoots and Leaves and Girl's like Spaghetti (for kids).

Twenty-Odd Ducks: Why, Every Punctuation Mark Counts!

Interesting and very helpful. Written in a lighthearted but concise way that would appeal to all ages. A great educational aid especially for anyone who doesn't normally bother too much about correct punctuation. You can't help but bother with this approach!

Super book. Lots of fun. Very accessible for a nine year old.

Rather pricey, though, for a 30-or-so page book.

Better suited to my 7 year old great-niece than to my needs but it has plenty of good points and is clearly explained.

We all come across comments about how many goods we buy are overpackaged - that also applies to this book. I found it very disappointing after having read "Eats shoots and leaves" and I do not recommend it.
Grossly overpriced!
