5.0 out of 5 stars Superb
Brings the naked form to a common denominator. Great to see people of all shapes sizes and age groups participating rather then the 'standard pouting blonde'. A worthy addition to a great series of books.

3.0 out of 5 stars Londoners - naked and nude
Those expecting titilation or erotic nude images from Greg Friedler will be disappointed! Once again he displays the nude male and female with an amazing blandness that its almost compulsive to want to look at every one of his subjects. The young, the old, the fat, the thin, the beautiful, the ugly are all represented, in black and white, both dressed and undressed...

Those expecting titilation or erotic nude images from Greg Friedler will be disappointed! Once again he displays the nude male and female with an amazing blandness that its almost compulsive to want to look at every one of his subjects. The young, the old, the fat, the thin, the beautiful, the ugly are all represented, in black and white, both dressed and undressed. What do you look at first? The face? the breasts? The penis? Yes you are a voyeur.....and yes you've been invited to look....so look! If you've seen the documentary about the book it will give you an insight into why these people want to been seen naked....if not you can make up your own mind....and maybe the book helps shrug off the idea that the British are prudes.....

5.0 out of 5 stars From a personal viewpoint, 16 Mar 2007
This review is from: Naked London (Paperback)
I was one of those featured in this book and also appeared in the documentary. I was delighted with the end result and pleased at the reviews that the book received. From my own perspective, what I found most strange was seeing myself naked in black and white. I was looking at myself in an almost abstract way. I was intrigued also as it really looked as if I was made up from two different people. The head seemed to belong to someone ten or twenty years older then the rest of the body.
