Patrick Mullane (Cork, Ireland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Saints Behaving Badly: The Cutthroats, Crooks, Trollops, Con Men, and Devil-Worshippers Who Became Saints (Hardcover)
The topic of this book the transition for sinner to saint. There are 32 short biographic sketches of men and women who are accounted saint or blessed by the Church, who however started with more that their share of human fragility. These range in time from the earliest disciples to the modern day. The writing style is crisp and to the point, akin to old-school catechism in this concise book.
