I have used this cookbook for many years. It gives a great variety of useful recipes, all of which work out extremely well. I use this one rather than my Delia, which says a lot. The recipes are divided in Soups and Starters, Main Courses, Picnics and Parties, Puddings and Desserts, and Baking and Preserves. In addition, there is a section about kitchen planning, which I don’t use. However, I like the recipes a lot, particularly the Main Courses, which include Casseroles, Family Favourites, Quick Suppers, Entertaining at home, etc. This includes great options for any occasion, and I use all of them often. My copy of this cookbook is now so worn-out that I will have to buy a new one, because I need it - it is one of the most useful cookbooks I have ever owned.
