As a father of two boys I'm always on the look-out for new books that are not only going to please my children but also entertain me. I've found one such book here. Captivating illustrations, witty text (that hits on two levels, for children and adults) and a cracking pace. Frankenstein's Cat (or "Nine" as the Doctor calls him, not because of how many lives a cat has but because thats how many cats it took to MAKE him!) embarks on an adventure to make friends, and the results are hilarious!
This from the man who created BOB THE BUILDER! Roll on a sequel...

Absolutely fantastic....not only has Curtis Jobling told a great story that is sure to entertain all children off all ages, but the illustrations are amazing as well. Sterling stuff...I really enjoyed it, and enjoyed reading it to my cousins three daughers...i can only hope that there are more books to follow by this exceptional talent. This is the sort of story that isnt afraid to be what it is, which is a little bit kooky, something that all children will giggle at with delight. Quite fantastic and about time.

This is a real gem! It is well written, beautifully illustrated and one of the most original books I've seen in a long time. Whilst being very suitable for young children it has enough humour for an adult to enjoy as they read and just enough gory bits to delight any young child.
