5.0 out of 5 stars Power to chickens!!
Having really enjoyed the books in the "animal 100 ways to train its human" series it was really interesting to see one on chickens rather than the "usual" cats, dogs and horses etc. I've found these little books such a great way of buying a small present for family and friends...what better than one on chickens at Easter time! Having bought this one I can recommend that...

3.0 out of 5 stars Rather less content than I thought
Quite an amusing book but I did expect a little more. Sometime you only get one-liners on one page! I suppose I was expecting more in the way of stories.

Having bought this one I can recommend that it achieves the same lovely gentle humour as the others and is a wonderful addition to this delightful series - and is another great little stocking filler. An ineggspensive treat!

100 Ways For A Chicken To Train Its Human is a must have for all chicken owners out there! With chapter titles like 'Fowl Play', 'Eggstra Special' and 'Avian Attitude' this book goes behind the scenes and exposes what goes on in those tiny minds of theirs. This humorous book has hen behaviour sussed, and is the perfect stocking filler for any chicken fancier.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hen-tertaining!, 19 Mar 2007

My step-children bought me this for Mother's Day and I have already read it from cover to cover. Having previously read "A Hundred Thoughts Cats Have About Humans" I have to agree with M. Perry that this is a refreshing change! Lots of entertaining chicken puns that you can share with the kids. You don't need to be a chicken "eggs-pert" to laugh along with the jokes. A fun read for all the family.

This is a funny book. Every page tells how the chicken is training its human. Not chicken husbandry but a funny insight into the chickens point of view. Very good.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend, and she absolutely loved it :) Its a small book, but its not quantity that counts, its the quality, and this has small nuggets of amusement that anyone who owns chickens will recognise.
