Brilliant book outling key principles of the study of criminology. Written in an understandable manner, it is easy to understand and even gives you essay's and activities to complete. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in criminology as either a career oppertunity or personal reference.

I really don't like this book and only bought it because I teach OCR A-level psychology. My students find the book highly confusing and really boring. As the book no longer contains all the information required on the syllabus, it is not of much use. I hope next time the publishers can find an author who writes more clearly and interestingly on the subject.
