5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 4 May 2004
This review is from: The Last Vampire: Black Blood No. 2 (Paperback)
This is one of the first set of vampire books i ever read and it remains to this day my favourite. Alisa is a strong female lead,a blood-thirsty killer who you can feel sorry for an sympathize with, some of the books made me laugh out loud, others made me cry, and emotional book about the ups and downs of living for thousands of years, the people you lose and the people you meet.
Even though Alisa can seem heartless the love she has for people she cares about shines through the whole series influencing her whole existance and final resting place, the last book did seem a bit sudden and unrealistic but if you've read the other five don't stop.
Even though i've had these books for a good seven years i've only read them once or twice the amount of emotions it takes to read them are draining, but i wouldn't give them up for anything.

This review is from: The Last Vampire: Black Blood No. 2 (Paperback)
This second book from the last vampire series lives up to the very high standard of the first bok in the series. This story about Sita's quest to stop the evil Eddie Fender will just make you want to read on to the third book as you will be hungry for more.

This review is from: The Last Vampire: Black Blood No. 2 (Paperback)
This was a truly great book. I read it for the first time when I was a young little 11 year old and ever since then I've read every single 'Last Vampire' and enjoyed every single one, although, this is my fave! Alisa is a wonderful character although the Hindu religion in it is a bit of an annoying extra it adds spirituality and humanity to Alisa's character which makes her so much more than just another vampire. The writing is absolutly beautiful as usual with Christopher Pike. His stories are more than just horror as you can truly believe the trials and tribulations of his characters.
