5.0 out of 5 stars Tribology - "Friction and Wear of Engineering Materials", 26 April 2009

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Tribology: Friction and Wear of Engineering Materials (Metallurgy & Materials Science) (Paperback)
This tome follows on from several of a similar vane, which were, however, published sometime ago. Whilst the science hasn't changed in the time between the publication of this book and the earlier books on this complex subject, this volume is much more up-to-date than some of its rivals.

In paperback form, this book is of reasonable value (over the hard-backed version) and I would recommend it to any student of tribology (obviously) or to mechanical and materials Engineers, both pre and post Graduation, who will find the book a most valuable tool.
