This review is from: Attitudes, Personality and Behaviour (Mapping Social Psychology) (Paperback)
This is an excellent publication for those who wish to know more about the likely relationships between attitudes, behaviours and personality traits.Although this is an academic piece of work based on years of research, practitioners will find it relatively easy to read and follow. It is not necessary to read the whole book but simply read the bits that are of particular interest. Re-word sections that are particularly academic so they become meaningful. It is an excellent reference book that also contains details of related publications which is great from a research point of view, whether you are engaged in positivist or phenomenological research.

It takes a long time to work through because of the way it is written. But it si worth the effort. Prof Ajzen knows what he is talking about. This book has certainly put some new perspectives on my own new research in the area of attitudes and behaviours. This book is a good read for any manager and particularly those who wish to improve their managing people skills. Understanding our own attitudes and behaviours and those around us is paramount to build good rapport with others. Prof Ajzen has done some excellnet work in this area which is well-reflected in his excellent book.
