5.0 out of 5 stars Fallow Blade (Crowthistle Cronicles)
i would recommend the qua-trilogy to anyone who enjoys fantasy and very long stories that tie together at the very end of the forth book. each book captures you after the 5th chapter and holds you still with only your eyes and imagination moving. read and enjoy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Ruined by two things
This would have been an enjoyable book, but was ruined in my opinion by two things. Firsly that the villan from the previous book is disposed of neatly and anticlimatically quickly, at the beginning of the book.

And secondly that the author spends large portions of the book flogging the reader over the head with her long diatribe against animal cruelty and...

5.0 out of 5 stars The Last of the Series, 22 Feb. 2013

Another good book. Shame there are no more to follow in this series as it is nice to follow a family through several generations
when there is a good story line.

This would have been an enjoyable book, but was ruined in my opinion by two things. Firsly that the villan from the previous book is disposed of neatly and anticlimatically quickly, at the beginning of the book.

And secondly that the author spends large portions of the book flogging the reader over the head with her long diatribe against animal cruelty and evil carnivorous humans. I skipped huge sections only to find that the author was still spewing her message via the voices of the main characters, but it just cluttered up the book and ruined the tone of what should have been the main plotline. I won't be reading any more of her books.
