4.0 out of 5 stars RH Bruce Lockheart, 3 Oct 2013
This review is from: Memoirs of a British Agent - Being an account of the author's early life in many lands and of his official mission to Moscow in 1918 (Paperback)
Bought this book in a charity shop, would recommend it to any body, a really good read even today. If you are interested in Russia and the British diplomatic service - before and immediately after the Revolution told by some one who was there read this book. Good insight into Lenin and Trotsky as well.

Like the title says - Bruce Lockhart was the British government representative in the midst of revolutionary Russia, including in the end running an agent network. Amazing that he lived to tell the story, execution was not far away.
