5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly gripping, enlightening, hard to put down, 7 Jan 2000

This review is from: The Journals of Woodrow Wyatt: v.1: Vol 1 (Paperback)
I read this straight after the Clark diaries, they cover very much the same period and events (Archer, Poll Tax, Thatcher etc.).
It was a really good read, I had expected it to be a bit condescending as I had always had him down as a wannabe toff - but he is surprisingly down to earth.
If you are interested in the social political scene of the Thatcher years (and Chateau Latour or Lafite) then this is one to read.
I found the tense he uses hard to get used to in places, but I think that is a result of the fact is was very lightly edited.
Definitely not disappointed.
