Go To Pembrokeshire And Walk - OS Explorer Map 35 & 36
on 25 May 2015
Great, clear map, 1: 25 000 is big enough to find one's way. The map is truly large when spread out; it can be folded nicely even "backwards" so that you have your location on top. We didn't get it ripped in one week of trekking, of which I spent two days with this map in my hand all the time. During rain it was in my rucksack so no experience about its resistance to moisture. For the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, I'd recommend the book Pembrokeshire Coast Path: Amroth to Cardigan: Route Guide with 96 Maps, Places to Stay, Places to Eat (British Walking Guides), as there are lots of details there that can't be shown on a map. On the other hand, if you leave the Coast Path, you are immediately in need of a map. As a Scandinavian hiking for the first time in my life around a sea with tidal water, I was truly grateful that the border of maximum high water was noted on the map.
