I found this book to be a good review of the vaccines and Dr. Sears was impartial in presenting the information which can be hard to find when discussing about vaccines. He also provides all the research and most if it seems pretty up to date. So if your unsure about if u want vaccinate or not I think this is a good place to start your research.

Was looking for a book that could give a balanced view on the pro's and cons of vaccination. As a parent of a new parent who's partner has opposite views I was looking for an unbiased publication that could support both views that could clearly and honestly give information about the benefits and risks of such an important decision. This book does that and gives the opportuntiy for compromise. It offers more than I was hoping to find and would definately recommend to anyone looking for clear factual information for and against the immunisation issue leaving out hearsay or scaremongering.

This issue is heated and there is no easy answer: if you vaccinate you take risks, if you don't you face another set of risks. Sears breaks down the issue one shot at a time, keeping the political and emotional elements out of the debate. This helped me see the issue more clearly. His reasoning is backed by years of experience as a pediatrician, too, which adds to his credibility. Other books on the issue sometimes feel more like a soap box rant than a balanced presentation of facts. Sears doesn't decide for you. He just gives the reader information and options. (Still, I'd love to know whether he vaccinated his kids!:-)) It's definitely worth the read. I recommend it!

I normally like Dr sears precious advice but this book did not make any sense to me, I would have liked something less heavy and easy to read, when you just had a baby you want the information to be quickly found.

Every parent should read this book. We need to know what's in the vaccines, which ones are necessary. We owe it to our children.

Well this book basically promotes vaccines. So if you are antivax like me you wont like this book! What a waste of money.

Delaying vaccines or spreading them out puts children at increased unnecessary risk. Just one thing among many that's wrong with this book. Of course if you get your medical advice from celebrities rather than professionals then this is the book for you.
