This review is from: Ed Emberley's Funprint Book (Paperback)
Brought this book for my kids as they love creating age 6 &3.it shows children how to make very simple animals, flowers, insects, dinosaurs etc using fingers and thumbs.it even shows how using simple techniques you can show every type of human facial expression ie sad, cross, worried, sleepy, mischieious to name a few! What it is excellent for is inspiring ideas for designs on pottery in these (paint ur own pottery)shops we recently painted cartoon butterflies and frogs onto cereal bowls at crazy Glazy pottery shop, results were fab. Noone could be disappointed with this book. X

Fantastic birthday present for a little girl who loves art. So many pictures to try out, I would recommend to buy this book along with an Inking Pad.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hours of fun for my 4 year old & I enjoy it too!, 1 Jan. 2012
This review is from: Ed Emberley's Funprint Book (Paperback)
What a brilliant book! Bought this for my 4 yr old as a change from the usual paints, crayons and colouring pens. He's had great fun making the various pictures. Great step by step guides as well. A book that will last all year round too as there are a number of seasonal ideas for thumb/ finger print pictures e.g. Halloween, Christmas...

Highly recommended along with fingerprinting art kits which contain stamps for little fingers and thumbs.

This book is great, the children love it and helps them to use their imagination. Remember the choice of ink/paint is yours, choose incorrectly and your children will have red/blue/green fingers for days to come!

Yesterday we received the book and hope today to make some of the paintings. It looks really fun! It is comforting that there are children's books that grown ups can follow :-)

Saw this book at a ceramic painting studio. Great ideas for simple drawing/painting. Might be able to be a step ahead of my two year old grandaughter for a while.
